Presenters
Gustavo Ferro and Lisanne Groothuis will host this webinar.

Gustavo Ferro
Gustavo is an independent consultant in international trade and development with more than 17 years of experience. He’s a researcher on natural ingredients for organisations like CBI, SIPPO, and IPD. He has also collaborated in natural ingredient projects for organizations like UNIDO, GIZ, UNDP, the World Bank and Swisscontact. In addition to working directly with exporters, Gustavo supports organizations and institutions active in the field of natural ingredients. Gustavo has worked in different parts of the world, including Latin America, North and Southern Africa and South and Southeast Asia. He is currently involved in natural ingredient projects in Tunisia, South Africa, Albania, Serbia, Vietnam and Colombia.

Lisanne Groothuis
Lisanne is a skilled market researcher, and has been a market analyst for CBI since 2018. She leads the natural ingredient research team for CBI, and writes many of the studies.

Lisanne works for ProFound, assisting entrepreneurs and support organisations in gaining market access for agro-biodiverse (regenerative) products and natural ingredients for food, health, and cosmetics. ProFound works with both wild-collected and cultivated products, optimising processing at source to maximise value.
